The photographs depict Robert Creeley at the Vancouver poetry conference in 1963 and two views of Peter Orlovsky and Gregory Corso at John Burrough's villa in Tanger in 1961, with Ginsberg's handwritten caption date, and signature on recto. Notations in an unidentified hand, in pencil, on verso, indicate photograph and print numbers.

American poet, author, lecturer, and teacher who was one of the core members of the Beat Generation of American author's in the 1950's and early 1960's along with Jack Kerouac, William S.
